COLOSSIANS 3:16 SONGS: SONGS OF TEACHING AND INSTRUCTION
LYRICS:
This song is inspired by a young girl whose sudden death shook everyone that new her.
What guarantee do I have for tomorrow
But now I still have breath and the laborers are few
Will I be found doing His business
If He said, “Tonight your life is demanded from you”?
There is a number of days written down
He wrote them before they ever came to be
And on that last day when I close my eyes
And see Him face to face who took away the sting of death
Will it be said of me I numbered my days?
Will it be said of me I wasted them not?
What will be said of me?
Where will my treasure be?
What will remain when I have passed away?
I’m not scared to die I just want to live like
One who knows I’ll stand before God some day
It’s better to be away from the body and at home with the Lord
But there’s still work that I must do
Will it be said of me I numbered my days?
Will it be said of me I wasted them not?
What will be said of me?
Where will my treasure be?
What will remain when I have passed away?
